Will MFP ever provide a TDEE-based cataloging system?

While it is easy enough to set one's NET calories to the TDEE-20% figure, it seems that one isn't able to share their exercise efforts since the only way to catalog exercise is by using 1 calorie. I'd like to be able to log the calories I've burned - both as a way to share with (and encourage ) my MFP buddies and for looking back at my workout history.

I wish they would! I have a lot of IRL friends on MFP and they just use the MFP settings not TDEE so they always ask why I don't log my exercise calories. You would think there would be a way to just have it so you can log exercise calories but not have them go toward your daily net.

What I do is use the Sedentary TDEE number - 20% and then add in my exercise calories based on what my HRM says. On my exercise days, it comes out about the same as if I had used the moderately active TDEE. It seems to be working for me. :)

    Sedentary minus 20% = 1302 plus 300 (avg) calories for exercise = 1602
    Moderate TDEE minus 20% = 1682

    Hope that makes sense. lol
