I am interested in getting a food scale. I really don't want to spend too much.

Not sure where you're located - but a generic digital (or manual
kitchen scale would probably do.
Amazon suggests anything from ~$8 - $30
..be sure to take the containers weight into account first

I got a Soehnle and I bought it on Amazon. It opened my eyes to how wrong my portions were... and I credit a large degree of my weight loss success to its regular usage.
