Not looking at the scale

I have been working out since 1/14/2013. My regime includes 90 minutes of Taebo, from which I should burn 1168 calories, no alcohol, and eating 1200 calories. Whenever I decide to lose weigh, if I don't lose it fast enough, I get discouraged. This time I decided I will not look at the scale, to stay motivated.
My clothes are getting bigger and everyone seems to notice, I am slimming down. Are there other ways to determine you are making progress without looking at the scale?
