Want to make sure my Activity level is right

I'm just hoping for some imput/advice as to whether I have my activity level right as I'm pretty certain I'm stuck in a plateau and I need to figure out what to mix up to try and break that so I'm taking a look at my settings as part of reworking things.

I work retail so I'm on my feet moving constantly throughout the day. I constantly wear a pedometer and I walk 6-7 miles a day (500-600ish calorie burn) between my commute and all the walking around I do at my job during the work week. My work also includes me picking up/carrying 50lb cases of printer paper at least 3-4 times a day. For exercise I am focusing on the C25k running program (250ish calorie burn) to prepare for my first 5k. I am also doing 30 Day Shred Level 1 once a week for now (but not on the same day as a C25K run/walk), planning to do it full on once the 5k is done.

I currently have my setting at Light Activity, 1lb loss a week and am given 1550 calories. Thus far I haven't really eaten exercise calories except on weekends. I drink at least the 8 glasses of water a day, more often 10.

Any help would be great, thanks!

I personally went with lowest setting of no activity to prevent overestimation, and all the extra work I do is bonus loss. The only exercise I add the calories for is when I go with a plan to exercise, like running or working out at home or the GYM. Like I said if i did 10 hours of cleaning or 5 hours of moving furniture, I don't add the calories for that stuff and just consider it bonus movement. I hope this helps you, it may lower your calories some but it will help get the loss going again.

Oh yeah I never log the calories I burn during my workday or anything like that. I only log planned exercise calories (like my C25K run/walk calorie burn or the 30D Shred burn). And I don't log cleaning or whatever else either, just planned workout effort.

    Thanks!
  • I think you're probably eating too little. Would you be willing to try eating your exercise calories back for a week or two? Or setting your daily calories to moderate activity? You've been working out pretty hard lately. I think your body needs more fuel.
