Any Running Junkies? Newbie 5k/10k

I've always had a passion for running..something about it is so soothing. The ability to push past your limits and run places you once thought were impossible to get to without a car! haha I'm running a 10k in april.

I really want to take it to the next level and train to eventually run a half marathon.

I run about 10-15 miles a week ranging from 2 to 4 miles a day, but I would really like to get on a regime to help me increase stamina and speed before the run? what do I eat before my 10k..what do I wear that day..?
I just need help with this running world haha

    Hey ! I am something like running junkie too. Ran my first half-marathon last September but since...winter came and it's a bit hard running outside here in Quebec in the winter (my opinion). What specific information you want to have?
    What to wear the day of you 10k? Don't wear new clothes. Wear clothes you are used to workout/run with...
