Do you ever have one of those days?

I have been working out and eating better for about two weeks and I have lost about 5pounds (Yay)
But today for some reason I was snacking and ate a bit over limit, I felt horrible and went to work out again!
I keep telling myself tomorrow is a new day and then I ate a "midnight snack" which was JUNK! Its just one of those
days were I lose focus and motivation.

Do you ever have one of those days? :ohwell: :frown:

Yes regularly, that is how I put so much weight on.... I also find the weekends really hard not to just think "sod it, I deserve a treat!"

Of course. It means you're human. :) You sound pretty dedicated so you have nothing to worry about. Congrats on the 5 pound loss!

5lbs is amazing progress!! well done!! you haven't done much damage by having a little snack here and there!

Think of it as a little reward for doing to well and jump back on the horse tomorrow!

    keep it up

Yep all the time, my eating habits are far from perfect. I had a lot of chocolate cake and party nibbles in the last few days but just been carrying on with my work outs to make me feel less guilty. I am stocking less of the junk in the flat now so less temptations think that helps. I dont do the midnight snacking thing anymore as always rewarded with indigestion afterwards.

Yes, we all have those days. You sound like you have done great so far so just try to get back on track as soon as possible. (I say that from experience because I don't know how many times in the past I would eat something, regret it and then get so bummed out I just gave up for that day..... one day led to another and so on and before I knew it my "diet" was a distant memory. Now I have concentrated on trying to buy healthy food and snacks, so if I do eat a snack or something, I can still feel okay about it. Plus, with all of the working out you should be fine!!

  • Feels like every week I have one of those days! But the important thing is to not beat yourself up about it and tomorrow is another day! I have just rejoined today after jumping from diet to diet my latest one up until yesterday was juicing for breakfast and lunch and soup or salad for dinner alo took rasberry ketones and colon cleanse tablets and I have to say I was totally miserable so I'm hoping this will help slow and steady wins the race x
