Vegan craving meat and fish. Help

I've been vegan for 2 years and 1 month vegan.

For the past 5 months i've been really craving meat and fish.

Could this be my bodys way of telling me i lack some nutrients? I don't think it is as i take vegan multi-vitamins and make sure i get as many nutrients as possible.


Any suggestions?

    Maybe have a blood work up done and see if you are deficient anywhere, like maybe your iron. I crave rare filet mignon around that monthly time...usually because of an iron drop. (sorry, don't mean to raise your meat cravings) maybe try eating a nice piece of fish? If the vegan lifestyle is something very important to you, maybe speak to a nutritionist that specializes in veganism...
