tighter pants, looser shirts?

I'm almost 4weeks into a fitness challenge at my gym. Loving it! Not a lot of weight lost yet, but I feel great. Lots of circuit/tabata/interval kind of stuff. Squats, lunges, TRX bands, burpees, etc. Love that most of the stuff I'm learning I can do at home as well.
Anyway, my pants are feeling tighter in the butt/thighs, but now my shirts are getting loose in my mid section. Normal?? Will my pants eventually start getting loose too, please say yes LOL
I didn't write down my initial measurements at gym, so took them at home a few days ago.

YES They will. Its normal for people to change shape differently. Just keep doing what you are doing. Those workouts can be squat heavy sometimes, which can bulk you up temporarily but keep going !0
