Food help?

Alright, so I asked this about a week or two ago and got zero reply. I'm going to try again once more and see if anyone will at least say something and if not I'm jumping off the bandwagon and sticking to my plateau of shame for now. I'm starving all the time now and I have no idea why. I'm the type of person who eats 1000 calories at most and feels like I'm going to puke if you offer me another cracker on top of that. I've been like this for years and only the other year did I start overeating do to stress, abuse and other reasons which is why I'm trying to lose weight and get back to my old lifestyle. Recently though I've been having rather bad hunger pains almost constantly and I have no clue why. I gave up on tracking for a while and ate anything and everything that my stomach wanted and I'm STILL starving. Like the entire stomach gurgle, sharp hunger pains and dizziness. I do not know what to eat to try and start losing weight again while getting rid of this pain. I actually probably ate 5000 calories on Tuesday, the scale did not move and I was still hungry as could be.
So... food advice? Meal suggestions? Anything please!? T___T

Try to get at least two servings of fruit and vegetables per day. Aim for about 1g/lb bodyweight of protein, and anywhere between 0.25-0.35 g/lb bodyweight in fats. Fill the rest in with carbs so that you are in a caloric deficit. I would start high and walk my way down to the rate you want to lose, i.e 1lb/week, 2lbs/week etc.. I'm assuming you exercise as well.
You can fit these macros however you like. Some foods will make this difficult, others will make it easier. Here is a list by macro of foods I tend to eat:
Protein: Egg whites, Chicken Breast, Tuna, Tilapia, 93/7 Ground Beef, Pork Chops, Cheese, Milk, Whey Protein
Carbs: Rice, Beans, Broccoli, Green Beans, Spinach, Pop Tarts, Cereal, Bagels, Bread, Wraps, Rice Cakes, Bananas, Blueberries, Pasta
Fat: Chips, Olive Oil, Peanut Butter, Cheese, Fish, Chocolate, Eggs, Avocado
Fiber: Oatmeal, wraps, Peanut Butter, Spinach, Bananas, vegetables
These are just examples, you can eat whatever you like just in controlled amounts. It takes self control to diet but you also have to enjoy life so set up a diet that you will be able to stay consistent with. Hope this helps.0 -
It may be a good idea to visit a nutitionist as there could be other issues going on. I had something similar, and my blood sugar would crash several times a day. I was eating a ton, but my body was taking in those nutrients as expected. Increasing my fiber (I use a supplement 3X/day), eating several times a day (6 meals/day as opposed to 3) and having energy gels with me incase I did get super hungry helped a ton.0

I already know my blood sugar is messed up as I'm hypoglycemic and if I could afford a nutritionist then I'd be able to afford eating the foods I actually like. Money has always been a huge issue for me. Though I am curious, what are energy gels?
I'm going to have to try harder on the fruit, I've been eating as much of it as possible, but I may be eating too much now if that makes sense??? I do exercise. I walk to work which is about an hour and a half one way and sometimes I do this twice a day if we have a meeting in the morning. Besides that I do exercise videos for about 10-20 minutes a day. I've never thought of eating peanut butter. I don't even lick the knife after I've made a sandwich for someone else. It just scares me with how much fat and calories it has. Is it really okay to eat it and lose weight? I think the one I'm running into on the list is protein. I take protein shakes, but they don't seem to do anything, but I also don't eat any of the proteins you listed. I might eat tuna maybe once in a blue moon, but that's it. I'll have to try and figure out how to add those into my budget somehow...0
