Am a 43 year old male, using MyFitnessPal has been been the only method that has ever worked for me losing weight. I'm 6'5" and Idealy should weight 220 lbs, I'm at 240 now. Sure I could go lower than 220 but lets get there first. I work out in sperts, Last year I was on track until a broken arm threw me off. There is always an excuse.
I'm on a 90 day calories counting charge. I plan to stay under 1200 for a week or two, then go back to gym and increase cals to 1800 and bounce around that range for the remainder of the 90 days. Week days are fairly easy, but Weekends...that's the test. Oh and I like Beer and Wine...Counting caloires forces me to light beer...ugggh. I'd just assume have a couple of chardonnays.:drinker:
I'd like a little help staying on track, so I WELCOME NEW MFP Pals! .... FRIEND ME
Well I'm in day 5 of 90 and the first 5 have gone great. 85 more days will pass whether I'm on board or not...so I might has well.

The 1200 is just a jump start to get me going. Next week I should eat 1200 and take it to 2000 with an assortment of craft beers!0
