Bad taste in my mouth and more

I occasionally get a bad taste in my mouth and a coated tongue, along with (sometimes) a funny smelling urine (not the same smell as asparagus pee but sweeter). I already looked up my symptoms and they suggest diabetes but I don't pee more often than normal (I actually can go forever) without having to pee, nor am I thirsty. I am not on a low carb diet (you can check out my diary if you want), so I don't think it's ketosis, but maybe I'm more sensitive to getting it.
It seems to happen when I change my diet (just being more careful what I eat, but not low card/high protein/low fat) or when I'm sick. And sometimes it just happens for no reason. Seems to come and go.
Have it now for about 2 weeks and it's driving me insane! No matter how much I brush or chew gum, I can't get the icky taste out of my mouth or get rid of the coated tongue.
Anyone have experienced this and what do I do?

It could also be sinus issues. Do you have seasonal allerigies, or anything of that sort? And, are you drinking enough water? If your tounge is coated with white fuzz you have thrush (oral yeast infetion).0

Hi I'm a hygienist, could be an infection, when was your last dental visit? xrays? sometimes you don't have pain with some infections like periodontal disease. Brushing your tongue should remove the coating if that's all it is.
Sweet breath is usually associated with diabetes. But the bad breath and be tooth or gum infection. Just a suggestion if you haven't been lately see your dentist, get xrays and a cleaning. that way you can rule out oral infection. Dental check ups and cleaning should be dont every 6 months. Good luck0 -
another thought do you take any medications that cause dry mouth? that can cause coating and bad breath too0

Thanks for the input. Maybe it is a sinus issue but my sinuses don't seem stuffed up. Was at the dentist a few weeks back. If it's a yeast issue, what so I do about it?0
