Hey all I'm 5'4" trying to lose my last 6lbs. I have upped my calories from 1200 to 1400 for the last 3 to 4 weeks and i still haven't lost any weight. I don't really do much exercise, i just started doing some dumbbell exercises a couple of days ago, will that help? Should i increase my calories?

imo- yes increase calories slowly and monitor your weight each week for one month.

I would say increase to 100 more cals per day. Just monitor for one month. If it's not working, then you'll have to try something else.

Do you think you could add in some walking each day? Doesn't have to be much, but that might kickstart dropping the last few pounds.

I've increased my cals lately and have finally dropped below the weight I was stuck at.

When you do the dumbell exercises try to double task it so that your core is engaged. For example instead of just doing a row, step into a full lunge and hold it. Also, do jumpong jacks or jump rope or something for 30 second intervals in between sets to increase your hear rate. My best advice would be to spend $10 bucks and get Jillian's 30 day shred. It's only 20 minutes per day for 30 days and you will definitely lose that 6 pounds.
