too much sugar?

so i have been looking at my sugar intake. mfp says i can have 35 grams of sugar a day which is about 3 tablespoons. looking at the last 30 days there isnt one day that i wasnt way over that goal...it's been most of the time over 50 g. so basically i can have 3 and i have 6 or 7. on the other hand i have done really well with staying under my calorie goal. so my question is...what are the effects of this extra sugar?

I'm in the same boat! 35g seems so unrealistic, but it could be because I'm just starting out.0

I don't know what kinds of sugars you are eating. But, if you are getting most of those sugars from fruit or natural sources I wouldn't worry too much about it.
I do find that the figures MFP automatically inserts are incorrect and you need to do a little research on what you should be having for your body.0
