I want to know how come when you post cardio on my fitness pal it shows how many extra calories you can take in but when you do strength training it doesnt give you any extra calories???? Some days when I do strength training -- I may do weights for an hour and half or longer and I am sweating ... but no extra calories are added on my fitness pal .........confused!!!!!!

I actually had this same issue :-) If you search for Strength Training in the cardio section you can put in how many minutes you trained for, and then I just list my exercises I did in the other section. Hope this helps :-)0

That does help thanks -- I didnt know that option was there -- I still wish it would break it down in the actual strength training section for each individual one. Thanks again!!!0

That's because weight trainers spend most of their time sitting on the end of the benches between sets - not a great calorie burner.
