Seeking Mermaids

I run and jogg in the pool I started this on my own because the classes seemed to be more about hanging out at my gym then working out . Dont get me wrong I love to make new friends, my husband says I will talk to anyone. I would love to hear what others are doing in the pool how much they are loosing

  • I started water aerobics and water jogging about a month ago. I like the water aerobics way more than I though I would...I though it would be for little old ladies but it's kicking my butt! So with the combo of water aerobic and water jogging I have lost 24 lbs. Not too shabby!

We have a decent sized above ground pool, and I can't wait to play in it! Sadly, it is way too cold and filthy right now.

In the last two summers, when I got in that pool, I didn't care what I was doing. The water lifted my jelly off my bones, and I could MOVE! (Of course, getting out of the pool made me feel like I instantaneously gained a bunch of weight.)

One of my favorite things to do was run in circles along the edge. My husband would run in the opposite direction, and we would kiss each other whenever we met at either end of the pool. So much fun!

You can hook your legs to the edge and do sit ups. Push your back down into the water until you reach the wall, then go to your knees for air. This is just as good for strengthening your lower back muscles as your tummy. You can do jumping jacks- the bigger the splash, the better! I never really swam laps. Our pool isn't quite *that* big, and those aren't very fun anyway.
