Small NSV, but awesome to me!!

So, last Sunday at church my husband and I were walking up the 2 flights of stairs to go to our sunday school class and usually when we reach the top I stop for a few seconds to catch my breath so I won't be huffing and puffing when I walk into class and feel embarrassed that I can't walk up stairs. Well, this time when we get to the top I realized it wasn't even hard to get up those steps and on top of that my breathing was totally normal it was so awesome for me, it's been years since I could go up stairs without losing my breath.

So, what are some or your NSVs that may seem simple but are really important to you??

My biggest NSV happened last week: I finally got back to my pre-baby weight (after 2 kids, this was HUGE for me!). I still have 10 more pounds to go, but I was SO happy! Congratulations to you!!

my NSV is that i am standing up straight (showing off my waist) instead of slouching around other people. I am dressing better, and when i walk past someone in the hall or on the street, i keep my head held high instead of looking down. i am not hiding anymore

Just for the heck of it the other night I measured my waist and looked at my past log on my measurements here and lost 2.5 inches off my waist

    Excellent NSV... Keep it up!
  • Congratulations! One NSV that I realized when I was home at Christmas was that I now fit into a regular size towel! For years, I'd buy the bath sheet so it would wrap around me but I can fit in a regular towel without offending anyone should a fire break out. Each time I use a regular size towel, I smile! It's a reminder I am smaller than the person I was last year. (I'm down 86.2 lbs in one year).

Mine was buying a pair of pants two sizes smaller than what I have been wearing, I was in a hurry so I didn't try them on, but I figured even if they don't fit right now, they will before long...... well I was right about one thing they don't fit that great but only because they are almost too big :)
