Now I know my bf...what next??

Ok really i'm just looking for some honest opinions, having discovered body fat is my main problem i don't know if i'm doing the right thing, yes i have been gradually losing weight since i joined here but its my bf i'm stuck with,...my main workouts wekkly include kickboxing and i've recently started JM though i have been incorporating it in my routine more than anything, is this enough to eventually work down bodyfat or is it even possible without a strict strength training routine?

  • It would be a good idea to start lifting but you'll lose some fat with what you're doing. I feel like you're under the impression that liftingis really time consuming. All you need to do is 30-45 minutes 3-4 times a week. Check out 5/3/1 or some other strength program.

The only thing you have to do to reduce body fat is create a calorie deficit. Stick to your calorie goals, keep doing what you're doing, and add in more strength training as you go.

Thanks for the replies, guess I just have to stick with it, yea it was more about finding the time for reading up on strength training and that before i start it because i don't want to go into injuring myself and not even doing it properly to achieve the full benefits of it,. I'll look into it a bit more
