I just ran a half marathon distance for the first time. I could NEVER have imagined doing this a few months ago. Myfitnesspal is great.

I started running in September 2012. I've been training for a half marathon in April 2013 since about October. Today I went out to do a 'long run' and felt good whilst I was doing it so I pushed myself to do the full distance. Just to prove to myself that I can do it. I've been feeling very negative about the race up until now (thinking I won't be able to finish etc) and now I've proved to myself that I can do it and I am fit enough. I'm pleased.0 -
