It may not seem like much to sum but man I had been in a slump lately.... I started this thing off strong I lost 160 lbs quite quickly with a little over a year... Since then I havent exactly gained weight but I havent gone down.

I have been basically offsetting any good I have been doing with exercise by eating crap. My first excuse was Halloween, then it was Thanksgiving, then Christmas then my Birthday and the last one was Superbowl. I didnt do that the year I lost the weight.

Any ways been down in a slump lately.

I have learned to love myself again day after day.

Yesterday I had a good day. I drank a lot of coffee but not one zero calorie soda and not one piece of candy (yes I had sugary crackers) but geezus I had been eating candy nearly every day and it was catching up to me.

I use to be by far the biggest manager at the company I work for... Yesterday we did a weigh in half jokingly and I came in 4th place out of 5 amongst the managers... I use to be number 1 ! lol Now there are 3 fatter ones before me ...

Still work to be done but it felt great.

Wow, great job losing the 160 lbs!

You've been on MFP for a while, I can understand why you're having trouble staying focused. Glad you are trying to turn that around.

Your NSV is wonderful! Let someone else be number one! You don't even podium any more!

That's definitely one contest that you don't want to win the gold, silver or bronze. I wonder how the top person felt (hopefully all the manager were men?).

I think it's great that you made it through the holidays without gaining. Give yourself credit for that, but it sounds like you needed a little nudge to get back on track, Congrats on the 160 lb loss!

yeah it started off with one guy who was always second to me at my biggest who is now probably bigger than I was not believing my weight... then of course the male machismo thing explodes and every one jumps on board... Much to their disappointment.
