  • thanks for your reply, don't know what happened the first time!

it says to maintain weight my tdee is 2141
  • You need to have a deficit of 500 calories a day to lose a pound a week and a deficit of 1,000 calories a day to lose two pounds a week, you shouldn't net below your BMR. Aim for about 1,640 calories for a pound a week loss.

When you set your activity level did you include your exercise? If so, don't log exercise calories. If not, log (and eat back) you exercise calories. You don't necessarily need to eat back all of your exercise calories, but eat back enough to net your BMR of 1557.

I didn't include exercise into it, most days I do the 30 day shred which I think burns about 200kcals.

Probably a stupid question but If I was eating closer to 1000 kcals a day would I lose around 2lbs a week or would that be worse?

Since your close to your goal weight. I would shoot for half pound to 1 pound a week. Just to let you know the closer to your goal weight the harder it takes to lose, but keep up the good work. :flowerforyou:

1600 per day would be a healthy weight loss. Yes less calories means quicker weight loss but is not recommended because it can be a less healthy way of losing weight.
