How many fitness DVD programs do you have? 4
I purchased one DVD set locally and the other three I burned off of YouTube.
(I guess the ones from YouTube count)

I have a few yoga DVDs, if that counts..?0

I have 1, I bought it as I thought it would be similar to the gym class I used to do. I think it was but I had no where near enough room in my living room to follow it, so ended up turning it off and haven't touched it since.0

I am cheap and do not buy. I have TV programs recorded on my DVR and I get to about 1-2 of those a week.0

Had to actually go and count, the tally now is over 20... sheesh, no wonder its a multi-billion dollar industry, I am one of those that keep them going.
And do you know the saddest part, I use the freebies more than the ones I paid for???0 -
I have 41(!) fitness DVDs. About 10-15 are favorites, mostly Jillian Michaels. 10 more I like but they are too easy now. About 5 I don't like much and almost never use. The rest I mix in once in a while for variety. I also have 13 old VHS workout tapes from the '90s, mostly The Firm. Most of them are still good workouts, but not as challenging or effective as JM.
I *love* using DVDs. Buy once, never pay again. No expensive gym membership or driving to get there. I can roll out of bed and finish my workout before shower and breakfast.0 -
I have 5 of Jillian Michaels: 30 Day Shred, 6week 6pack, Yoga Meltdown, Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism and RI30. 2 of Leslie Sansone's walking off the pounds and some yoga by peggy cappy. I like my JM dvd's and like the above poster, I like not having to go to the gym. I like exercising in the privacy of my home.0

Over 20 that' great!
I'm a morning person and used to go to the gym at 6AM. Actually, it's a community center and the price is $50 a year. (It used to be free for city residents) I've started working out at home and find it nice that I don't have to get up as early if I workout at home. I think some of the free stuff on YouTube is great.
I think I already know the answer to this question. Why don't most companies make 30 day workout programs? The answer has to be money. They make more money on the 90 day workout programs.
Ex. It would be nice if they had a 30 day Body Revolution by Jillian, 30 day P90X or a 30 day TapouT XT that costs $40. If each of these 30 day workouts were 30 mins, you could break them down to 10 min workouts and create you own 90 day program. Of course the number of discs wouldn't be 12 or 15 but I'm sure someone could think of a custom 60 or 90 day program using a 30 day program.
Here's another example, Jillian had a 30 day slim down challenge using Banish Fat Boost Metabolism, No More Trouble Zones and 30 Day Shred. If you bought the DVDs from Amazon on sale, you could get all three for $21 - $24. Much cheaper than buying Body Revolution, P90X or TapouT. The BeFit in 90 system on YouTube is made up of three 10 min workouts per day so you can see where I'm going with this.
I'm guess after me saying all the above, I'm glad for programs like Supreme 90 Day or Weider X-Factor St for frugal people like me. I'd probably faint if I paid $99 for Body Revolution or $120 for P90X and didn't use it.0 -
I have a lot. Lost count. But I have STS, X-Train, 4 days split, low impact series, Hardcore Series, Slow & Heavy Series and a lot more from Cathe Friedrich (she is my favourite instructor)
But I also own Insanity, Turbo Fire, Turbo Jam, Skogg Kettlebell workout and a bunch others lol0 -
ooft - lost count!! Several VHS tapes with about 100 episodes of aerobics oz style on, Rosemary Connely, Jillian Michaels full boxsets, Holly Rigsby Fit Yummy Mummy Transformation Pack, X-Train Fit, Insanity, P90X, Billy Blanks Tae Bo, Mr Motivator numerous celebrity dvd's, Strictly Come Dancing, new workout downloaded monthly from www.FYM.com, Kettlebells, Pilates, Zumba box sets, Weighted Hula Hoops workout, Wii Fit workout games. I must have spent a small fortune over the years between these and slimming club memberships and not to mention my gym equipment (multigym, treadmill, exercise bike, weights, kettlebells, medicine ball, bands etc). I'm really only just starting to put them all to good use. To think I was actually considering buying more lol :laugh:0
