as the title says... just joined up, and popped on here to say hi and introduce myself.

bit about me: i'm Dave, pretty average sort of guy i guess, and live in Surrey, i've done the hard bit getting weight off (over 5 stone lost in about 3 years) so now i'm looking to get a bit fitter, i've put about a stone back on (tut tut) so i'd like to get about a stone off again. i'm a multi-drop courier, so i'm very active during the day, often doing 12-13 hours a day, so i don't get time to make joining a gym worthwhile, my main problem has been eating crap whilst i'm working, it's far too easy to pop into a shop for a choccy bar isn't it?
so... that's me

Buy a cooler bag and take your meals or snacks in a tupperware container and ignore what your so called friends think you and your healthy eating. To quote Phil Learney:

    Society deems.....
Pinching someones fat and saying wow thats big - Unacceptable
Squeezing someones bicep and saying thats big - Acceptable
Telling someone that has build an impressive physique they've gone too far in person or via social networking - Acceptable
Telling someone who eats junk, doesn't exercise and has got fat they've gone too far in person or via social networking - Unacceptable.
    Protein drink - Unacceptable
    Eating Clean - Unacceptable
Carbonated sugar and water - Acceptable
    Alcohol - Acceptable
    Smoking - Acceptable

Ignore all these "social rules" and do whatever the f you wanna do.

Hi, sounds like you've done really well so far and just need that final push! Change a few habits and track what you're eating and you'll soon be making progress.

    Good luck.
  • thanks for the welcome,

i'm pretty good during the week eating wise, but i do tend to 'let my hair down' at the weekend, i guess it's because i'm on the go all week and behave myself, tracking myself on here, i am under my calorie intake everyday, so weekends are just gaining a bit back, i know that's probably not a good way of going about things, but i don't want to be too strict on myself, a little of what you fancy does n't hurt and all that....
