help, please :)

itness help please! :) so I started going to the gym at 5:30/6am...but I don't eat before I go...is that bad? does my body NEED fuel before the gym? I don't feel hungry while I am there, I don't usually get hungry until I get home. What are your thoughts?

    I like to run first thing in the morning with nothing but a sip of water first. If it isn't a problem for you then do as you please.

    Don't need to eat before, but eat something at least 45 minutes after your done.

    I never thought it was a good idea to exercise before you ate something. In the warmer weather, I'd go for a mile or so run before breakfast and all I felt afterwards was light headed. You have no fuel in the gas tank so you can't win the Indy 500 on an empty tank. I agree with eating soon after though, eat a normal size breakfast for you and your diet.

    Nothing wrong with not eating before. I do a protein shake and then cardio half hour or so after. I have breakfast about 30 minutes after workout. Works for me. Just do whatever feels right for your body!
