Hello all,
I have been using MFP since last spring. I am a college student, graduating this June. I started at 135 and now I am between 107-109 pounds (I'm 5'4"). I don't feel I look like I weigh 107. I think I look fat still. It must be the way my body carries my weight/fat. Because some people look so much tinier at my weight/height. I know muscle has a lot to do with this, but I do workout (cardio) about 4-5x a week and I do strength training twice a week. I know I could work on my diet, I don't eat too badly, I just need to work on eating less carbs and upping my protein. I just don't see myself being happy with how I look until I'm probably 100 pounds. I know I'm not anorexic. I definitely eat and know the importance of eating at least 1200 calories a day and not starving yourself. I don't. I lost all my weight "the healthy way" by starting to eat healthier last spring and starting to work out. I just don't feel skinny enough. Maybe it's also b/c I go to a school where a lot of the girls are quite skinny. Idk, but I don't feel this is good enough.ny
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

You may not actually be anorexic, but you are thinking like one. You are underweight and still haven't determined your maintenance calories. If you really want results from lifting, you are going to need to eat more.
You should have a complete physical done, but at a gym or lab to measure your fitness and body fat. I think the information from that should be eye opening for you.0 -
Have you considered asking a friend or family member to draw your outline on a bit piece of paper? Chances are, the "fat" image is a psychological thing and you'll be a lot smaller and slimmer than you think you are.
Please, get some help before it takes over, because disordered eating often starts with thoughts like these, and you're already showing some of the behaviours. Don't let it take over.0
