Update!
Did this with 2 tbsp of nutella. Delicious.
Did it as written the other night and they were good. Going to try the nutella version you did tonight.0 -
Update for me: Overall I love love love this recipie. Thanks to Op!:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
I tried half batches (4 cookies):
Semi-sweet Chocolate chips - delish, but a bit high in calories and sugar vs the original
Unsweetened Peanut Butter - 1 TPS in a 1/2 batch - I couldn't tell it was there. Disappeared .
Cinnamon - good, but made it taste like breakfast not "cookie" to me
Chocolate Protien Powder and almonds. Good but seriously resembled dog turds. Recommended for a 9 year old boys b-day party lol...i couldnt get past the look
Nestle Dark Chocolate Morsels - 1 TSP (70 calories) was enough for a half batch. NUM, YUM, BEST EVER I don't think i will vary anymore!!!0 -
Soooo making these tonight! : D0

Thanks for the recipe!
I made this for our luncheon guests today. One of our guests is a diabetic and he LOVED the cookies. I did put some cinnamon in the banana & quick oat mixture. Our guest requested the recipe. Nice! I calculated 60 calories per cookie--it made 8 cookies.0 -
mmmm will definitely be making these... maybe with chocolate chips0

I just tried these and am pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Main reason I did it was because my 3 year old wanted to make cookies and I didn't want to mess around for ages in the kitchen. He helped mash the very black banana, we added half a cup of oats and a serving of low cal hot chocolate powder (his idea). Scooped into four piles, patted down and into the oven.
They baked up to true cookie texture and were well received!0 -

I wonder if these would work with the old-fashioned (not quick or instant) oats. They sound yummy!0

I just made these with the recipe cut in half and a quarter cup of blueberries. Yum!
Oh and I did in fact use old fashioned oats. :-)0 -
