MFP generally has lower numbers than a lot of people recommend. If you want to lose 2 lbs/week it almost always puts you at 1200 calories which is too low for most people. You can make your own goals if you to into the settings on your diary and customize them. I'd try out something in the middle for a few weeks and see how it feels. If you are hungry, eat more, if you aren't losing, try eating a little less.0

What is your age, height and weight and goal weight? What did you tell MFP you want to lose per week? You probably chose 2 pounds a week which might not be appropriate for you.0

I chose 1lb per week; I'm 19, 145 lbs, goal weight 120. And I'm lightly active. I do yoga 5x/wk, martial arts 5x/wk, and light house work and what not daily.
The websites are all telling me 1,200 is way to low, if I was sedentary i would need 1,600 or ligtly active 2,000.0
