Ok so I know flavoured is spelt with a 'u' in the title but I'm Aussie and that's how we spell it.

Onto my question I make my own flavoured water using fruits and vegetables and my girlfriend just said that I should be counting the calories from the fruit I use. Today's is manderine, kiwi fruit and lemon. My favourite is kiwi and strawberry.

I cut up and soak the fruit/veg in 2L of water for 3-12 hours depending on the amount of flavour I want then I drain all the water out and puree the food and either freeze as icy poles for the kids or add to my cupcake mix.

What do you think?? Should I be tracking those calories?? I'm not worried about tracking the sugar

I don't because you're not ingesting the fruit. It's the flavoring from the fruit you're getting and very little juice if any. I made some apple cinnamon water the other day, and it was great!

    I wouldn't bother tracking them.
  • Thanks I hadn't bothered tracking them, I don't think it would make much difference anyway.
