A close friend's daughter hits us up every year. Last year, we bought cookies to send to the military guys, This year, I just gave her the cash as a direct donation to her troup. I was glad that another year was behind us. Then some cute little girls with a wagon full of cookies rang our doorbell today. But I stood firm and crushed their little spirits when I resisted the ACTUAL cookies!

They will sell them to the neighbors, I'm sure.

My husband and I have been running from the Girl Scouts like they were adorable plague ridden rats. Seriously I cannot stop at one cookie so we just dont get them.

I have never been a binge-er, but I swear, I am certain I could finish off a box of Samoas in less than 10 minutes! Nope, they won't see the inside of my house for awhile.

I've been doing really well rationing sweets, but ack, I fear the day my cookies arrive. >_< Samoas will be the death of my willpower, but I couldn't say no to my husband's niece. :(

They would be easier to resist if they weren't MINE! All in the freezer!

    :-)

With two girl scouts in the house who BOTH have a 100 box quota, we always buy 10 boxes. But that doesn't mean I have to eat them!

We have six boxes in our house. Cute little girl came by today and sold them to us! LOL. But I am going to put them in the freezer and hopefully my son and husband go through them quickly! When they are frozen though I don't eat as many. But honestly I have only had two cookies.

My wife is a troop leader for 2 troops, I have to take my cars out of the garage to fit all the cookies - and we always have leftover cases for days. Not good, not good at all.

I'm from Australia so we don't have them over here.....but I have a dear friend who lives in Arizona who has two girls that are girl scouts and they are happy for me to buy them and pay for shipping.......Lucky (or unlucky!) I have a husband and a 6 year old boy that happily eat their way through them and I only get to see 3 or 4 max out of the 4-6 boxes I buy :)
  • I ordered 5 boxes plus a box to donate. Supposedly they are for my Aunt and my Old Man. Hopefully it stays that way!!!!

You can always buy boxes to donate. The GS will send them to one of 4 organizations and you'll never have to see a box! (Yes, I have a girl scout, can you tell?) Of course, this is not nearly as fun as eating them! ;-)
