Halfway there...

I've just hit the halfway point towards my goal weight (I have lost 20lb in just over 10 weeks) and wanted to say thank you to everyone on MFP for your continued inspiration, humour, wisdom and determination. It's all really rubbed off on me and made the process so much more enjoyable.
It's not been easy; what's helped most is, of course, giving up my beloved Friday night wine *sob* but to be honest I don't really miss it. Whenever I've felt stressed or a bit down, rather than reaching for the booze, I've gone for a bike ride or stuck '30 day shred' on (which, incidentally, has helped so much - yay Jillian Michaels!)
So thanks again all at MFP for helping me focus on shifting the flab - I owe you one )

Congratulations! I have not been here long but it has surprised me at how little I miss some of the things that I used to do. I used to think that I had to have those things but I don't....and what has amazed me the most? I'm ok w/ Not having them or not having as much.0

It is incredible how much we learn about ourselves once we start this journey. I have loved every moment (well...except the plateau :laugh: ) and I'm also amazed how I don't miss anything I used to eat...even chocolate! :noway:0
