Crazy diets....

I haven't lost a single pound in the past 2 weeks and I am getting extremely discouraged. I dropped my calorie intake and I have been exercising more but, still, NOTHING. I have 91 more pounds to go so, I can't stop now.
I was talking to a close friend about my troubles and she said that she did the twinkie diet and lost 9 pounds, than she did the master cleanse and lost 20 pounds and finally she did the army diet and lost 5 more pounds. She now is losing weight by just counting calories and I'm wondering if and what you think is safe for me?
I just want to get out of the 200's which would be about 30 more pounds. I am getting fed up with the scale not moving at all week by week. Does anyone know what diet would work for me other than counting calories? I am wanting to do a weekly cleanse to jumpstart my weight loss again.....
Anyone?

Fad diets are terrible. You might not be losing because you're not eating enough. I used to scoff at that whole "eat more" thing until my weightloss stalled and then I gained more. I upped my calories from 1200 to 1430, I eat my exercise calories and have been losing again. I also don't go over my carbs. When I was eating less, I was going WAY over my carbs, so I think it was connected.
Fad diets are a quick-fix, which never lasts because you can't upkeep the diet for the rest of your life.0 -
I don't recommend one of the "crazy diets". Sure they work for a few days but then you're back to square one feeling super frustrated. Track your calories and exercise, that's what really works. And the scale is a tricky thing, you may not lose anything for a week and then suddenly you're 5lbs lighter. Don't give up! :flowerforyou:0

Water, water WATER!!!!
Hydration is the key to weight-loss!!!!
plus you might be going through the whoosh!!!!!
your body after losing weight decides it wants to hold on to fat/water etc and you wont lose weight. Then all of a sudden... bang!! you'll lose 4lbs over night and be like "WHAT THE *kitten*?"
thats called the whoosh!!! when you body decides its OK to let it all go!!! sometimes alcohol brings it on!!
have a night out, girl!!
happened to me, true story!!

Definitely DO NOT try any of the fad diets. I'm like 90% certain that after your friend stops all her fad diets...she's going to gain back all the weight and then some as well as lower her metabolism. It's just how the human body works.
If you're not losing weight, there might be something wrong with your diet, your exercise routine, or both. Your profile is private so I can't see what you're doing. Would you mind telling us what you're doing specifically so we can help you out?
Also, I read your profile and I too suffer from the same medical conditions! So I'm going to friend you if that's alright and we could support one another0
