best heart rate monitors?

not trying to spend a million bucks but i want one that has a pretty accurate calorie counter?

    I have the new balance N4 in pearl white with the chest strap. I love it! Super easy to set up and I like that it is very compact and looks like a normal watch.

    does it seem to be accurate? the problem i am having reading reviews is that alot of them arnt even close...

    I have a Timex ironman HRM. Love it. 6 years old. I have used it 5 days/week. Only replaced batteries.

    Make sure you you get a chest strap. Please do NOT get kind that is just the watch; they are much less accurate.

    It will become your best friend. Promise!

    I have the Polar RS 100 goes for $70-80 on ebay. I find that its pretty accurate. Comparing mine to the one my sister has it seems accurate when it comes to calories burned.

    I have a new balance N4 pearl also. When I first got it I wore it for a full day and it seems to be pretty accurate to me. A little cheaper than some others to, about $50 on amazon. Cuter too!
