I'm looking for a healthy sauce to top some pork chops with (I'd like to branch out from apple sauce or BBQ sauce). Any suggestions?

This is a great tangy & sweet sauce that is virtually fat free and goes perfectly with pork chops or tenderloin:
Balsamic Cranberry Sauce
1/2 cup chopped onion, sautee in a pan until softened. Then add
1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
1/2 cup fat free chicken broth
1/3 cup canned whole berry cranberry sauce
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (I usually add extra balsamic, love it!)
Whish together until well mixed and cranberry sauce has melted. Let bubble for about 6 minutes until mixture thickens.
Add salt and pepper to taste!0 -

I usually start with olive oil and garlic when cooking the chops, use whatever spices you like on the pork chops I like cumin and some brown sugar with salt and pepper. Sautee the chops, when they're done, remove them and add some low sodium chicken broth and some white wine and a little margarine to the pan, reduce it down, be sure to release the brown bits from the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon when the sauce is reducing. Simple and easy, you can replace the wine with lemon juice or vinegar if you don't want to use alcohol.0

We've just had garlic and Chinese five spice - rub it into the chops about an hour before & then grill - tis yummy0
