I’ve been working on losing weight over the past year through dieting and watching my calorie intake. I’m at the point now where I want to begin strengthening my core. I know there are various types of crunches I can do for my abdominal muscles but I’m not sure what to do besides push-ups for my chest. I’m currently not a member to a gym and I don’t have any free weights. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me out?

planks! They are killer, but work great!

I've been having physio for a back injury and have been given lots of exercises for strengthening my core; just type it into google. I think mine are from Nuffield health but there's lots out there, maybe even YouTube aswell for demo videos.

Push-ups and all the variations of push-ups ought to be all you need. Try elevating your feet for a more intense workout.

Thanks! I can't believe I didn't think about Google... I Google everything and it didn't even cross my mind.
