Hey, just wondering if anyone can give me some tips on calorie cycling. I think this would work great for me as I get really bored eating the same amount of food everyday. I really like the sounds of cycling and I think it may help me lose these last 8lbs or even just build muscle so I can "look" 8lbs lighter!!!! Let me know ur thoughts on this! Thx

Yes, it's up and down every day but still all together equal a goal of 1500 per day or 10,500 per week.

    But it's not extreme - no 4000cals today and only 1000 tomorrow. It's like 1500, 1700, 1600, 1200, etc etc

I base my goals more off weekly than by day, but hardly enough to call it cycling.

I tried carb cycling once. Just for giggles. Same weekly goal, just 3500 on workout days and 1500 on rest days. Was there any difference? Nope.
Which is funny, since I overate on my off days - at least 2000kcal. Meh, natural glutton here. ^_^
  • I would be interested in hearing more about it as well

I unintentionally do that and it works for me, keeps me from getting bored and means I can feel like I'm having a splurge on weekends and the like.
