Morning Workout Question

I have a question about working out in the morning. Would you all recommend working out in the moring before eating, or after eating. I have not had a problem with not eating anything before a workout, since i started. This morning though, i did have to hop off of the treadmill after 22 mins because i just did not have the energy. I just have the mindset of if i eat before a workout, im only really burning what I have just eaten, so i do not eat anything before. Any suggestions, as i only would eat a breakstone cottage doubles ( cottage cheese w/ fruit 100 cals), and 1-2 packs of oatmeal, grapefuit juice.

I work out first thing, and I generally have a small snack beforehand, like a 170-cal protein bar, or a banana. Then, after I'm worked out and showered, I have my oatmeal or eggs or whatever for breakfast. I can't work out on an empty stomach. Try having a small snack under 200 cals and see if that helps!0

I usually have a cup of orange juice, then get dressed/ready for my workout. Then post workout I have my breakfast. I find the juice helps to keep my blood sugar up - sometimes though in the middle of the workout I get super hungry so have a Special K bar, wait a few minutes and continue with my workout. Usually it works for me!0

I have to eat before I workout and that is around 4:45am. I eat a banana. Don't think i could ever make it on empty stomach...0
