My top tip - if you hate going to the gym (or don't want to spend the money) buy some DVDs and do short workouts before breakfast and dinner, and add in a walk or two through the day if you can.
I'm noticing a real change to my body shape - clothes fitting properly (when I've not worn them for 3 months because they shrunk in the wardrobe ) even though the weight loss is not dramatic.0 -

Hello, I have just joined mfp. I am trying to lose "several" stone for my wedding next january. I think this site is brilliant, I was going to join WW or SW but they are quite expensive and I need all my pennies for the wedding. I am just going to count calories & walk. This site is excellent for the calorie counting and Ive got the Carol Vorderman pedometer for my DS which is encouraging me to walk every day. I think I need to lose seven stone so there is a lot of work ahead!!0
