eating back calories.... the next day!!!

So, when I exercise in the evening, something I have to when time restraints prevent me from going during the day, I eat a snack when I get home and then chill etc.
The problem is the next morning when I wake up absolutely famished!!!! but of course, unless I exercise that day, I only have "daily" allowance...
Is there such a thing as eating the next day? Is that just ridiculous???

Not ridiculous at all - I do it the other way around sometimes, which is eat more the day before. I belong to a cycling club that rides on a Sunday morning so I go a couple of 100 cals above the day before. I always change it up the day before or the day after, not any greater time lag than that and I have lost 11lb in 5 weeks, so it's working. Keep an eye on your weekly average and manage accordingly.0

Definately not ridiculous!!
I often take a look at my calories on a weekly basis rather than a daily basis - it makes the weekends easier!!!0 -
I usually split my exercise calories between the day of and the day after when I have a huge burn. My stomach is less confused that way. I note the extra cals in my diary so that I know how many extra I should eat.0

I always balance my calories over the week (any more than a week is too confusing for me!), so yesterday I netted just over 1000cals (shock horror) with the determined plan to eat pancakes at every meal today (breakfast = check!). Will prob net around 3000 cals today, with the rest of the week to work any excess off. This method means no cheat days, no telling myself off for having a kitkat - I just make tomorrow (or yesterday) a lighter day.
Yes this is one day at a time, but not everyday has to be a battle!
btw, lost 60lbs in the last 11months doing the above.0 -
congrats to all of u that have lost as much as u have!
This is going to sound silly, but psychologically, I like to finish my day "under." If I eat back yesterday calories, today, then I will be "over" I will have to get over it I suppose!!
I will definitely give it a try.... I am a teacher - being hungry and moody is not an option!!!!
Thanks guys0 -
anyone say you shouldn't??? i am debating....0
