No Weight Loss!

So this is my third weigh in this morning, my fourth week at the gym.
Week 1 (starting weight) was 146.8. I lost 1.4 lbs the first week, 2 the second for a total of 3.4lbs but today at weigh in I didn't even lose an OUNCE.

Is this normal? The only thing I can think of is I DID eat breakfast before my weigh in this morning whereas I normally do not (I had to go to a work meeting where I couldn't eat so I ate before), I just don't believe that made the major difference??

I push myself harder and increase my intensity each week and I rotate my exercises... is this normal? Does everyone have a week?

Yes it is normal to have an off week where your weight doesn't go anywhere. I have had a month were my weight didn't go anywhere then it started to come off 1lb daily for 3 or 4 days. Still 1lb a week. You will hit little bumps in the road and it will seem like nothing is working but it will come off sooner or later but most times its later rather then sooner.

I have that too. I'm in the middle of a frustrating period right now where I haven't lost anything (weight, inches) for weeks, even though I know I am getting fitter (can run faster, stamina is better, etc.). I saw a picture on some sight that said "not seeing results is no reason to quit" and I'm trying to keep that in mind. Exercising and eating right is still the best for my body, even if nothing dramatic happens for a while.

I feel myself getting fitter too!! I am running more than speed walking, my lungs aren't on overhaul, and I am feeling NEW muscles everyday...

I watch The Biggest Loser and I see even they have weeks without loss... it's just frustrating! You're right though--- IT IS NO REASON TO QUIT!
