You don't get extra calories for Strength Training.
Is that right or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,

I use strength training under cardio. It does give you calories there.

Yup. I log the exercises under Strength training then search "strength training' in the cardio section and add it there too. Tracks both then.

Nope -- no need to track calories burned from strength training --unless your doing P90X or other exercises that are high intensity moving your heart into cardio burning zones.

They definitely burn calories in significant amounts, the problem is that the amount will vary drastically between different people for any number of reason, so on MFP they don't count it. You can't just say "I did 3 sets of bench press at 135 and burned 200 calories doing it" because that won't be true for everyone.
