Ok, I desperately need to revamp my wardrobe. But I need some inspiration!

Sooo...ladies, do me a favor and post a pic of you in your favorite outfit so I can get some ideas?

Oh, and I'm a modest girl, so if your fave outfit is up to here and down to there, maybe post your second fave?

Thanks!

Do you do Pintrest? I just go on there and browse the 'womens fashion' category. I don't know how I bought clothes before Pintrest.

    I love her style! :)

While I think the style is very "cute", I like sophistication a lot more than looking like a 30 yr old dress as a teenager.

um...burn? not sure what you're adding to the post with that comment.

i like modcloth, old navy, gap outlet, TJ Maxx. what i also do, if i see a character on TV with clothes i love, there are usually fashion sites which take apart their outfits and find where you can get similar items for cheap. i find a lot of my blazers and work wear by looking up mika from wh13, or detective beckett from castle.

i try not to stick to any particular brand, just get what catches my eye on vacation, or strolling around town. i think the important thing is to have fun with your outfit!
  • I'm kind of obsessed with clothes, although I'm not sure how into my style you might be. It changes a lot, though. One week, I might be feeling super polished with blazers and modest hem lengths, and then the next week, I might be wearing something super short and frilly and over-the-top girly. But I'll post pictures of some of the my outfits (that I actually have pictures of. Because I have A LOT of stuff in my closet. And drawers. And clothes basket -- because I never actually have enough room for everything.) Also, I barely have any full-body shots. Sorry about that.

(I'm the one on the right, btw. Not the drag queen!)
I just recently got these tights and I'm OBSESSED with them. Also, I wear that black dress a lot in a lot of different ways. And my (fake) leather jacket is a constant.

Sometimes I get utterly ridiculous and wear my (favourite!) Little Mermaid tank top (over my black dress that I was wearing in the previous picture, actually) and a bright sweater and boots (which you can't see in the photo) and ridiculous Hello Kitty glasses. And sometimes I put a pigmy puff on my head (this was during strike of a play I had stage managed. My assistant stage manager had bought me a closing night gift -- the pigmy puff from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter because I wanted one but had never bought one for myself. Just thought I should really explain that. I'm really not THAT weird. Okay. Yes, I am.)

I love stripes! That striped tank top (from H&M) is one of my favourites. And I love anything high-waisted. Also, hats.

I really like dresses that are form-fitting so that I can layer a jacket over without feeling like there's too much volume going on. This particular dress has bunnies all over it, so, there's another plus.

Tights! I REALLY LOVE TIGHTS. And that same jacket again. And a cute dress with kitties on it. And boots. I love boots.

This is actually one of my top favourite outfits. That Ariel tank, that jacket, and some cheap fake leather leggings from Forever 21 with stilettos (which aren't shown.) A little bit over-the-top, but I loooove it.

Same black dress again, loose-fitting top over it, knee socks, boots. I actually wore this once with floral-printed fishnets under the socks and looooved it.

(How obvious is it that a lot of my style inspiration comes from drag queens? Is that obvious yet? Because the more pictures I post I'm like, dang.)

I just like cute little dresses.

    rs5_zps93ea5ca3.png
    And bright sweaters!

WOW YOU ALL PROBABLY HATE MY FACE NOW I'm sorry that was a lot of pictures and this probably wasn't helpful at all because I'm probably one of those people that thinks they dress really nice and fun but actually, it's just terrible and I have no taste IDK I JUST REALLY LIKE CLOTHES.

Most of my clothes come from Target, Modcloth (so expensive if it's not on sale, though), Forever 21 (cheap and cheaply made. It won't last long.), H&M, Ross, and pretty much anywhere with a clearance rack. But really, I just love to have fun with clothes. If I see something totally ridiculous, chances are, I'm going to want it simply because it's ridiculous and that's fun. Playing with clothes makes me happy.
