Best At-Home Workouts?

A friend just told me about Wello, www.wello.co. I have found a few trainers that look great, but wanted to see if anyone else has tried working / or is currently working with one of these trainers. I am kicking off a new fitness regimen to lose 25 lbs and need to do it from home.
I would also love any other suggestions for at home workouts. I have two kids under five and can't get to a gym.

One of the best, if not the best, home workout plans is P90X or insanity. Though they are great you must dedicate yourself to between 1 to 1.5 hours per day 6 days a week and the workouts are VERY taxing. This kind of commitment can be hard though. P90x requires you to buy the most of the equipment but its still not that much. Your biggest expense will be dumbells. I recommend the adjustable bowflex dumbells. Most of the other stuff is basic like a yoga mat, ect... I still do the workouts once in a while but i have dedicated myself to running now.0

Thank you for the rec. ncage. I actually bought Insanity and hated it! It was way too hard for me and I hurt my knee doing it... I have had several friends say they hurt their backs doing PX90. Did this happen to you at all?0

If you aren't ready for Insanity or P90X.. try 30 Day Shred.. take a look at my avatar.. it definitely works and gives you the confidence boost most folks need when trying to get into shape.0

I dud insanity, p90x, P90x2, and tapout xt. I loved them all but insanity gave me the best results. If insanity was too rough id definitely recommend tapout though I was not a fan of the resistance band stuff. P90x is great if you enjoy a little more lifting. 30 day shred is constantly getting good reviews though so it's another likely good option.0

30 day shred is on youtube. Look for level 1. you will need a set of hand weights. there are 3 levels and you do each level for around 10 days, then move up. remember to have a rest day ! try a board search for 30 day shred, there are loads of posts !
Another good website is fitnessblender.com ( they are also on facebook) they had heaps of workouts and exercises and some you don't need any equipment0 -
My biggest problem is motivation. I need someone telling me what to do. I just can't get compelled with YouTube videos...

I can understand that mentality. I fell off with my training a while back and working with a personal trainer the last month has been so good for me giving that extra push. Good luck and keep posting!0

i like fitness blender on youtube, straightforward workouts and no music so you can play whatever you want in the background0

I've done about 6 rounds of P90X. I really like it, but you need to take a break from it for a few months at a time if you are going to continue to use it as a regimen IMO. As far as injury from it, those that get injured aren't listening to the DVD's completely. There is no reason to get hurt with it. There are 3 levels demonstrated at once AND you go at your level and pace with each. There is no-one there forcing you to keep up at the highest intensity; in fact, your are instructed constantly throughout to do what you can and to use the appropriate modification. You can even modify more on your own. I now use P90X modified harder in some areas with balancing on balls for push-ups or integrating a TRX into it, etc., but I started on the lowest modification on many others.0

I just started using Wello (https://www.wello.com/?force_home=1) a few weeks ago and it is amazing! The trainers are so good at motivating. Right now my favorite trainer is Judy.
Wello is fantastic because you don't have to compromise the quality of your workout even when you are exercising at home. And it is just to easy to turn off a fitness DVD! With Wello you are held accountable because the trainer is there working out with you. Absolutely love it!0 -
