speed jump rope

i just brought a speed jump rope, and have been doing it for about 20 mins today. Once you get past the beginner stages of this form of exercise, would it still be a viable option for high calorie burning?

you can get quite a bit of use out of your rope. how many jumps per minute are you doing now? try to double that number. then try to triple it. what jumping style are you doing now? add 8 more jumps to your routine and switch styles mid jump. add some double unders.
