Hello all,
My name is Misty and after multiple times of trying to lose weight, I have made a huge step in the right direction and I plan on sticking to it. I asked a friend if she would be my personal trainer and she was more than thrilled. I am very blessed to have such supporting friends and family to help me stay strong during this. So far everything is going good. The first week was a bit rough with my diet a few days but I am getting the hang of it.
I hope to make more friends on here so if you want to be or need more friends, please add me.
I am excited for this change to be able to keep up with mmy kids and be more active. I want to go for long walks or bike rides with my kids or walk around on the trails in Rocky Mountain National park (i live in colorado).
So Just wanted to introduce myself and hope to find some new friends.

Welcome Misty! I think you'll find lots of encouragement here on MFP, I know I have. It's a really supportive place, and the tools here really help to understand what works best for you as far as what you eat and how much you exercise. I hope you find it useful. It is so great that you have supportive friends and family, that really will help you too. Its a lifestyle change for us, and we can do it! I'm sure you'll be taking those long walks with your kids before long, stay strong!0
