So, after a week of DH's work waffling, it's official. He's going to go to England next week. And, I'm tagging along! Yippeeeee!
When we went a couple of years ago, we stayed in this pretty nice hotel that had a kitchenette. I do not remember the name of it, although DH might (he's out of town right now, so I can't ask). Anybody know of a good one? The work office is in Wimbledon, which was a 25 minute tube ride from where we stayed before. He'd like to stay closer to Wimbledon if he could, I don't really care where we stay, as long as it's nice and has the kitchenette (I have food allergies and it's easier to prepare my own food than to go out most of the time).
I'm asking on here, because everyone is soooo helpful. Thanks guys!

I'm about 5 miles from there so don't know anything closer I'm afraid. With the trains you can get anywhere pretty easily. They may not be on time but it does beat every other mode of transport.
Try google maps for your searching, it shows you how close it is and people give reviews of the places they stay so you should be able to find one.0 -
I would also try "trip advisor" and "active hotels" both give reviews and have maps. Have a great time0

Thanks. For all I know, DH asked the London guys (they were all in Baltimore together this week). I know I was nagging him to ask anyways  Otherwise, I did like the hotel we stayed at before, except that I'd wake up in the morning with bug bites or spider bites or something. Didn't happen to anyone else in the group that went. I swear the bed had bed bugs! I know it probably didn't, otherwise I wouldn't consider staying there again.
But then again... I am looking for more hotel options.....0 -
By the way, besides all the "normal" touristy stuff, is there anything someone would recommend as a must do/must see? Something regular tourists wouldn't know or think about?0
