I been on here since July last year. I haven't been as consistent as I should have been in that time... but have really made a conscious effort since the new year. I started a 90 day fitness challenge at my martial arts gym and REALLY REALLY want to win the $500 prize.
I been kick boxing at least 1 hour 6 days/week sometime an hour and a half. Ididn't measure my self before I started but I did do an official weigh in on Jan 9th. The first 2 weeks of the competition i actually gained weight!!!
So far total since the beginning of the competition, i have only lost 6#'s.
I am coming in WAY under my calorie goals everyday. I try not to eat back my earned calories... that seems to defeat the purpose.

my complaint is that one day i get on the scale it says 220, then i go weigh in at the gym and it says 225. GRRRR... or the other day I weighed at 6am. My home digital scale said 213 I was SO happy!!! when I got home that afternoon I hopped on expecting to see maybe 215 since it was the end of the day... and instead got a 223. 10#'s in a day differnce.... I think my scale is killing my motivation!

I know in my heart it is working... even if my jeans dont feel different and the scale definetly isnt saying anythuign positive. I am not ready to quit... just annoyed it isnt happening faster... :(

Only weigh yourself in the morning, no clothes, before you eat and after youve gone to the bathroom. That will be the most accurate weight.

I am in the same boat. My weight changes between 5 pounds in a given day. Make sure to weight yourself the same way every time. I only weigh myself once a week in the morning after my workout. That way I get a consistent read on how much weight I have lost from one week to the next.

Also, I would try to come up with a few other weighs to measure progress too. Like maybe measure waist
    Size or your mile time.

Stay with it. I too struggle with wanting to loose faster.
