I am THRILLED to announce that I am within reaching distance of my goal weight!!!! It's been a long hard journey, and although I fell off track a couple times I managed to pick myself up and get my butt in gear. I started my journey on July 21st 2012 at 236 lbs. I now weigh 173 lbs and am only about 13 lbs away from my goal weight of 160! I am only 5'3, but my ideal body type is curvy.

You look GREAT!!!!!!!! I have a very similar body type. I started MFP 35 days ago at 192.5lbs and am currently down to 181.5. I have a similar ideal goal weight as yours 150-160lbs. I am determined to reach this goal. How long have you been on the program and do you have an successful tips that helped you along the way?
that's an awesome loss in a short amount of time, congrats! I began MFP in August of 2012, and have had unbelievable results with this site! I basically started off with juicing (watch the documentary Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead for more info) I did a 5 day juice fast and lost 14 lbs, which was a HUGE jump start. For me, first starting out numbers were everything, so the 14 lb loss motivated me. After that I ate only fruits veggies and nuts for protein for a few weeks and eased my way back into poultry (organic only) I did a round of Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, and mostly just walked and did some toning. Track EVERYTHING! That's my advice, it really helps keep you liable for what your putting into your body! I wish you the best of luck on your journey!0 -
