I was wondering of a tsp. of honey good for you. I put it in my shakes. But I see that it makes my sugar levels go up.
But I thought honey was good for you.

Honey is great for you. If you can get raw local honey, even better.

I wouldn't worry about the sugar levels unless you're on a low-carb diet.

Honey is a sugar, and if you have to restrict sugars, it could be bad for you.

Are you diabetic and actually test your sugar levels? Do they go up to an unhealthy level? If so, you should limit it or talk to your doctor about it.

If you are not diabetic, honey isn't any worse than any other sugar. I think it is better than processed sugars and tastes better.

It's better than processed sugars. I have a teaspoon in tea and coffee instead of sugar, it's slightly lower calorie too.
