Hello

Well hello there. I wanted to say hi to this lovely page and people, and tell you a little bit about myself.
I'm currently 279, was 310. Last year my dad died and I gained a some weight because I was in a pretty big funk, but around July I realized my dad wouldn't have wanted me to be like that, and decided to actually get serious about my health and my weight. I started on fatsecret (which I still use) but I prefer this site's calorie counting, and the larger food database.
Anyway, I'm 28, and just want to be a healthier person by 30 (that happens next year). I am not after a weight, I just want to be a size 14/16 and wear clothes from stores I wish I could shop at.

So besides calorie counting, I decided to buy myself an elliptcal machine, and have started doing at least 15 minutes a day - today I did 30 minutes, which I'm pretty proud about.

So here's to us right? High five everyone!

....ok, I've been watc

weight wise pretty similar to me - age as well

at my heaviest i was around 270-275. Before I started medical school I was 257, my initial goal was just to get out of the 'obese' range then re-evaluate from there. all about consistency

    please feel free to add!
