I'm on the1200 calories a day diet and I have been eating super healthy! Nothing processed, organic and gluten free!
But on the summery of my fitnesspal app says that I am going over my sugar percentage! Is it because I am snacking on fruits?
I eat whole wheat breads and Greek yogurt! Can it be bad to snack too much on fruits! I am my going over my 1200 calories either.
Hmmmmmm... I don't know! Please help!

You should be able to see in your food log where the sugar is coming from.

I eat way more than you do (1700 net atm) and there hasn't been a day in the past 6 weeks that I've not gone over my sugar allowance by...miles. I used to care but then I gave up caring :P Just mentally subtract the fruit sugars and then work on lowering the rest, if you want.

You can eat fruits, but don't binge on it. Just like everything else, everything in moderation :)

Naturally occuring sugars do not count towards your daily goals. Fructose (fruit sugars) and Lactose (dairy sugars) are naturally occuring. There are others. But basically, as long as your sugar intake is coming from fruits, veggies, and dairy, you are fine. It is the added sugars that you have to watch. No more than 10% of your daily calorie intake should come from added sugars, preferably less.
