There are "processed" foods out there that you can eat if you read the label. Stay away from anything that has white flour, enriched white flour, even enriched whole wheat, sugar, high fructose corn syrup. Trader Joe's if you have one is an awesome place to shop. Whole Foods is another one. It's takes time to shop and read and find products that you can enjoy but after a few weeks you get the hang of it. When I read a label, I also look for the sodium count. It's unbelievable how much sodium is in food naturally.

If it comes in a box theres a 99% chance it's not clean eating no matter weather the box says 100% whole wheat or whatever. Clean eating is just that, whole natural foods.

As a sidenote, the cleanest foods to eat do not have a label if you catch my drift.

Good morning! I was first introduced to the concept of whole foods by Sandra Woodruff (http://www.sandrawoodruff.com/about.html) in her book Secrets of Good Carb Low Carb Living. It's like a bible of whole foods. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in healthy eating add it to their library.

Another semi quote from Jillian.... (Don't have the book in front of me)

The only packaging you need to worry about is those pesky stickers that are on your produce.
